SAP programmes need experience where things get tight
In the fit-gap workshop, in integration testing, on the night of the cut-over: these are the moments that show whether a programme is well led. We bring the experience from over 20 SAP projects in more than three decades to exactly these points – for enterprises that put the steering of their programme in experienced hands, and for consulting firms that need someone with corporate experience for a work package. We have worked with many clients from retail, wholesale, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and utilities for years, with individual programmes running for more than five years. You will find our focus topics here at a glance.

S/4HANA transformation
SAP logistics as one chain
Demand, procurement, production, quality, warehouse, sales and transport interlock in SAP – and most problems arise at the handovers. We look at the chain as a whole and know which module tips the balance at which point.
PP · MM · QM · EWM · SD · TM
Logistics in S/4HANA
SAP MM (Materials Management)
Procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification – fully mapped end-to-end in SAP MM.
SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)
From quotation through shipping to billing – fully mapped end-to-end in SAP SD.
SAP PP (Production Planning)
Requirements planning, production orders and confirmations – where purchasing and sales meet production.
SAP QM (Quality Management)
Inspection lots, goods receipt inspection and batch release – in combination with procurement, warehouse and sales.
Warehouse and transport
SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
Goods receipt, putaway, picking and goods issue – the warehouse in step with procurement, sales and transport.
SAP Transportation Management
From transportation planning through execution to freight settlement – embedded in S/4HANA or standalone.
Platform and networks
SAP Business Technology Platform
What belongs on the platform, what in the core and what should go altogether: the extension strategy for a clean S/4HANA.
SAP Business Network for Logistics
Tendering, ordering, dock time slots and freight settlement with carriers via one platform – as a complement to SAP TM.
SAP Global Track and Trace
Shipment tracking across all carriers and modes of transport – the successor to SAP Event Management named by SAP.
SAP Business AI
An assessment of AI-supported SAP functions such as Joule: what is ready for use and what groundwork it needs.
Training
SAP training
Key user and end user training on your system, with your processes – a standard part of our implementation projects.
How we work
Before you open one of the topic pages: the sequence is the same everywhere, and it depends on where you currently stand. If an implementation is ahead of you, we work in four steps towards stable operation. If the decision is still open, it takes three steps to a recommendation you can take to your committee. The topic pages therefore only describe what differs from this.
When you implement: four steps to stable operation
Analysis in the system
Together with your key users we look at what the system actually shows today: documents, stock, reports, open items, custom developments. We take the process documentation along, but we do not rely on it.
Concept and fit-gap against the standard
For each process we clarify what the SAP standard delivers, where a gap remains and whether that gap is worth an extension. Every decision is documented with its reasoning – including the decisions against a requirement, so it stays traceable later why something was not built.
Implementation and integration testing
Customizing, master data and interfaces are built, usually together with your implementation partner. Testing then runs end to end across the whole process chain, with test cases and traceable defect management – not module by module, because the defects sit at the handovers.
Supported start and orderly handover
After go-live we support the start in the first weeks, while the new routines are still settling in. Then we hand over to your key users and your support team – with a list of what is still open, rather than with a quiet withdrawal.
How long the four steps take together depends on scope, the number of sites and the state of your master data. Each topic page gives the order of magnitude.
When the decision is still open: three steps to a recommendation
Assessment
We record what you use today, how much of it is genuinely in use, which data sits behind it and which regulatory obligations apply to you. Without this step every evaluation turns into guesswork.
Evaluation of the options
We set the possible routes against your requirements – always including the option of doing nothing for now. We keep a clear line between what is an available product today and what is still on the roadmap.
Written recommendation
You receive a short recommendation with its reasoning, prepared as a decision paper for your committees. What we do not recommend is part of it, and why – a paper that knows only one direction helps in no committee.
From the first session to the recommendation, five to eight weeks is the usual span. The result is a paper, not a project order – whether it turns into a project is your decision afterwards.
How we get along with your implementation partner
In large programmes one of the major international consultancies usually does the building. The division of labour is then clear and takes pressure off both sides: the partner builds, we keep the process view across module boundaries, bring open decisions to a conclusion and review the results before you accept them. We work with the partner, not against them – where decisions are taken early together, there is less rework later.
What we need from your side
Three things in every project: someone who is allowed to decide when two departments disagree; key users who work in their process every day rather than only reporting on it; and system access that lets us look instead of guess. What a single topic asks for beyond that – a warehouse manager, a voice from finance, the willingness of your carriers – is on the respective topic page.

Tell us briefly about your plans – whether you own the programme or are a consulting firm with an open work package. We will get back to you within two working days. The initial consultation takes 30 to 45 minutes and is free of charge. As we plan new engagements with a few months’ lead time, we tell you just as quickly if the timing does not work, and then suggest someone from our network.
